Boath House Hotel Wedding Photography | Aileen and Simon

In late March I had the pleasure of photographing Aileen and Simon’s gorgeous wee wedding at the beautiful Boath House Hotel between Nairn and Forres. The couple only had their closest family members with them, so the atmosphere was very relaxed and personal. I photographed Aileen and her adorable wee girl getting ready before heading downstairs to cover the wedding ceremony. Afterwards, champagne was poured and canapés were served. The sun was shining so we all headed out into the hotel grounds for some photographs. I’d spotted the swans when I’d arrived at the hotel and was thrilled that they were still gracefully swimming around the pond, providing the perfect backdrop for the couple’s photos.

It was a delight to be a part of Aileen and Simon’s special day and I was really touched when they took the time to write me this lovely review:

“Karen was fantastic. We are so glad that we chose her. She blended in seamlessly without trying to be the life and soul of the party, like I’ve seen some photographers try and do. She arrived early to get an idea of the scenery and to get some good ideas for some shots too. Karen was very professional. She knew what we were looking for from the get-go and effortlessly delivered on her promises. All her photos captured the mood and setting of our wedding perfectly. She was very happy, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend her.”
