Morag Ann and Brian recently tied the knot at the Waterside Hotel on the banks of the River Ness in Inverness. The day began on the Black Isle with Morag Ann and her bridesmaids getting their hair and make up done. The ceremony took place in the function suite of the hotel, tastefully decorated with fairy lights. I love standing at the front during the service and capturing all the emotions as the ceremony unfolds! There were quite a few laughs when the bride had to wrestle the tight-fitting ring on to the groom’s finger!
Morag Ann and Brian celebrated with their guests over glasses of champagne before braving the elements for some outdoor photographs. Despite it being February, it felt like a spring day with sunshine, mild temperatures and even a few crocuses popping up along the riverbank! We took advantage of a few riverside locations a short distance from the hotel, with Inverness Cathedral and the castle in the background. It was a novelty to get a lift back to the hotel in the bridal car; a stunning Rolls Royce!
Back at the Waterside, we captured some group photos at the fountain behind the hotel before Morag Ann and Brian cut their cake and took their seats for the speeches and wedding breakfast. Later in the evening, the Grouse Ceilidh Band provided the entertainment with traditional Scottish music, and Morag Ann and Brian took to the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife.
Congratulations to you both!
