Charmaine and Alastair were married on the summer solstice in a beautiful pagan ceremony on the lawn of the luxurious Assynt House near Evanton in the Scottish Highlands. Charmaine wore a beautiful dress and cloak made by her mother-in-law, Karen. Eve Baillie conducted the handfasting ceremony, then Charmaine and Alastair joined me in the grounds of Assynt House for some photographs, before celebrating with their guests. Charmaine tossed her bouquet then seats were taken for the meal and speeches. Later in the evening, at the end of a really special wedding, the bride and groom cut their cake then went into the first dance of their evening reception with Wonderland providing the music.
Here is a selection of images from the day and some kind words from Charmaine.
“A wonderful photographer who did well to put up with my zainy family. She was very relaxed and accommodating and I’d recommend her to anyone having a wedding.” – Charmaine
Congratulations to you both!
