Janine and Ronny travelled to Scotland from Germany to tie the knot on the Isle of Skye. Plans for an outdoor ceremony at Dunscaith Castle were shelved due to the weather forecast but this certainly didn’t dampen everyone’s spirits! Davina McCluskie of Scottish Highland Weddings conducted a humanist ceremony, involving a handfasting and quaich, in Bracadale House, the luxury accommodation where the couple were staying. Janine and Ronny posed for a few natural images outdoors at Bracadale House before moved on to Sligachan, one of the most scenic locations on Skye with its old bridge and views towards the Cuillin. The bride and groom braved the rain for some more photographs before having their first dance in the Sligachan Hotel to Dougie MacLean’s ‘Caledonia.’
Here are a few images from the day.
Congratulations to you both!
